چکیده
Objectives: A common concern in some cochlear-implanted children is the lack of desired progress auditory and listening skills. Such a remains despite proper verbal processor programming, additional disabilities, continuous participation hearing rehabilitation programs. more detailed assessment pathways centers processing at lower end brain stem by measuring time Electrical Stapedius Reflex (ESR), investigating its relation to perception skills can provide significant information about choosing appropriate method. Methods: In total, 20 unilateral (3-7-year-olds) participated this research. All them were implanted for ≥2 years ≥1 year auditory-verbal program. The ESR reaction was measured 3 electrodes apex, middle, basal areas. Categories Auditory Performance (CAP-II) test score used assess Then correlation between CAP-II investigated per each electrode. Results: There inverse CAP II scores apex (r=-0.5, P<0.05). However, no such observed middle (r=0.34, P>0.05) (r=-0.06, electrodes. Discussion: shorter electrode higher children. Therefore, examining be useful prediction benefits cochlear implantation as well better approach
